Marcella Teller

Born and raised in Chinle, Arizona, Marcella Teller is from both the Navajo and the Jemez tribes. She comes from a long lineage of jewelry makers. Marcella is a self-taught bead stringer. She’s been married for over 40 years and has two children and two grandchildren. One of her daughters also does lapidary and inlay work that she learned from watching her mother. Marcella is a kind, soft-spoken, good-natured individual who does beautiful work.
